Mohanthal is one of most famous sweet and it is mostly used as Prasad in temple of Lord Krishna. It is also famous in North Indian. Mohanthal is thick piece sweet of Chana flour with equal sugar and more dry fruits. Cook at home Mohanthal Gujarat's special sweet dish easy to cook with mouth watering taste.  



Ingredients for Mohanthal Recipe

Chana flour: 250 grams

Ghee: 200 grams

Sugar: 300 grams

Milk: ¼ small bowl

Food colour (yellow): 3-4 drops

Cardamom seeds powder: 1 Teaspoon     

Charoli: 1 Teaspoon

Almonds: 1 Tablespoon

Pista: 1 Tablespoon

Kesar: few

Method for How to Make Mohanthal Recipe

Step 1: Heat Ghee and add milk in it, now take flour in dish, add warm mixture in flour, after minute sieve through a steel sieve.

Step 2: Take a pan, add Ghee in it, add mixture and roast them until it get golden brownish.

Step 3: Take another pan, boil water, add sugar in it, and make syrup until it have 2 threads shown. Add kesar, food colour, cardamom powder and mix them well.

Step 4: Now add roasted mixture and switch off flame, and spread the mixture in plate.

Step 5: Decorate with charolis, chopped pistas and almonds. Add a little warm ghee on it. Cool and cut it into pieces.

Additional Tips:

Make sure the syrup is properly made.
