Malai Kofta is one type of spicy sabji which is most famous in north India. Malai Kofta is made of panner and potatoes small balls with white gravy. Try this Malai Kofta with chapatti, naan and mango achar. 
Malai Kofta Recipe

Ingredients for Malai Kofta Recipe 

Potatoes: 250 grams

Paneer: 100 grams

White gravy: 2 cups

Corn flour: 1 Tablespoon

Toast powder: 1 Tablespoon

Malai: 2 Tablespoon

Cream: 3 Tablespoon

Green chilies (paste): 1 tea spoon

Almonds: 15

Pista: 15

Kesar: a few

Salt as per taste

Oil

Ingredients for How to Make White Gravy 

Water: 1 Cup

Milk: ¼ Cup

Ginger: small piece

Chilies (Green): 2

Cloves: 10

Cinnamon: 3

Onion: 3

Tomato gravy: 1 small bowl

Cashewnuts, magatari seeds and khus khus paste: 100 grams

Butter: 1 Teaspoon

Mawa: 3 Tablespoon

Cream: 3 Tablespoon

Oil: 2 Tablespoon

Coriander seeds: ¼ Teaspoon

Cumin seeds: 1 Teaspoon

Dhana jeera: 1 Teaspoon

Turmeric powder: ¼ Teaspoon

Chilies Powder: 1 Teaspoon

Garam Masala: 1 Teaspoon

Salt: 1 Teaspoon


How to Make White Gravy 

Step 1:  Mix ginger, chillies, and garlic, cinnamon, clove and cumin seeds and grind them, take a pan, add oil, add paste and onion.

Step 2:  Fry for a minutes, add salt, dhana jeera powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala until it get brownish.

Step 3:  Add cashewnuts, magatari seeds and khus khus paste. Fry for 4 - 5 minutes till oil separates. Add butter and enough water.

Step 4: When mixture boiled, add milk after sometime add mawa and fresh cream.

Step 5: Now white gravy is ready.

Method for How to Make Malai Kofta 

Step 1:  Take boiled potatoes, mash them, add salt, green chilies, Toast powder and mix them well.

Step 2:  Take paneer , grate it , add almonds, pistas, kesar and salt to it. Mix well.

Step 3: Make a ball of potatoes mixture, flatten them and stuffed with little panner mixture in it.

Step 4: Now take a pan, fry stuffed balls.

Step 5: Take white gravy, add malai, when it boiled add the koftas and cook for 3 minutes.

Step 6: Garnish with cream and chopped coriander leaves and serves with naan or chapatis.
