Samosa is all Indian most famous snacks, mostly in north Indian. Samosa is fried triangle shaped, stuffed with potatoes and green beans. Samosa’s real test comes when you eat it with emali chatuney. Samosa is easily can say just homemade recipe.


Ingredients for Samosa Recipe

Potatoes: 200 grams

Maida: 100 grams 

Green peas: 50 grams

Ginger-chili paste: 1 table spoon

Coriander leaves (chopped): 1 table spoon

Sugar: 2 tea spoons

Rawa: 1 ½ table spoons

Wheat flour: 1 ½ table spoon

Red chili powder: 1 tea spoon

Mint leaves (chopped): 1 tea spoon

Citric acid: 1 tea spoon

Cumin seeds: ½ tea spoon

Turmeric powder: ½ tea spoon

Garam masala: ½ tea spoon

Sesame seeds: ½ tea spoon

Tea masala: ½ tea spoon

Anardana (pomo-granate seeds): ½ tea spoon

Oil for fry

A pinch Asafetida

Salt as per taste

Method How to Make Samosa

Step-1: Take potatoes and bean. Boil them and grated well.

Step-2: Take a pan, add oil, add cumin seeds, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and asafetida.

Step-3: After some time add green chillies, garam masala, sesame seeds, coriander leaves and mint leaves, lime juice, tea masala and anardama and fry them well.

Step-4: Add mixture of potatoes and beans, add little salt, fry them for some time make a mixture.

Step-5: Now, Take maida, rawa, ghee, salt and wheat flour and make a dough.

Step-6: Now make a round puri from dough, divide them into two.

Step-7: Make a samosa shape by putting two parts of puri as above and bottom layer and then stuffed the mixture.


Step-8: Then fry in deep oil and serve it with garlic or sweet chutney.

Additional Tips

Instead of boiling the potatoes, they can be cut into small pieces and then fried. This can be used for making the stuffing.

Pomogranate seeds are known as anardana.
