Kachori is like a spicy chat. Kachori is mainly originated from Rajasthan. But, you try this Gujarati kachori stuffed with beans called lilva. Kachori is also a Gujarati farshan. Original enjoyment of kachori is with chutney.


Ingredients for Kachori Recipe 

Fresh beans (tuver): 250 grams

Wheat flour or maida: 300 grams

Rice flakes: 50 grams

Green chilies: 8 – 10

Potato: 1

Sesame seeds: 1 tea spoon

Sugar: 1 tea spoons

Garam masala: 1 tea spoons

Powdered sugar:  1 tea spoons

Mustard seeds: ½ tea spoon

Citric acid: ½ tea spoon

Lime juice: ½ tea spoon

Ginger: a small piece

Coriander leaves: a few

Kajus and raisins: a few

Sesame seeds: a few

Soda: a pinch

Oil accordingly

Salt to taste

Method How to make Kachori

Step-1: Take fresh beans, crush lightly and grind ginger and chilies.

Step-2: Take a pan, heat oil, add crushed beans, mustard seeds, sesame seeds, ginger-chilli paste and salt. Cook for a while.

Step-3: When it cooked properly, add all masalas in the mixture.

Step-4: Now make a dough for the puris, take a maida flour and little wheat flour , add sugar, oil, lime juice.

Step-5: Make round puri from dough and stuff the small portion of the mixture and roll it like ball.
Fry the kachories.

Additional Tips:

If you have fewer beans then you can add boiled and mustered potatoes or washes rice flakes.
Green peas, cucumber, tendali can also be crushed and added for stuffing.
